There is a report on a speech by
Abdul Waheed Khan, UNESCO’s Assistant Director-General for Communication and Information, at the annual conference of the
Global Alliance for ICT and Development yesterday in Kuala Lumpur. Apparently he was emphasising that skills in information technology alone are not enough. Encouraging, especially as it looks like there was a very strong emphasis on the network/technology side of things at the event. The story is
