October 2011 will be
National Information Literacy month in the USA. The Governor of Massachusetts has already issued a proclamation endorsing the importance of information literacy in that state. A number of libraries are already planning events to celebrate the month. The initiative was pushed forward by the National Forum on Information Literacy in the USA. There is more information at
