The
Digital Britain report that was published by the UK's Department of Culture Media and Sport at the end of January has received a good deal of attention. I notice that the article that was printed in
Information World Review has been published on the web in a different magazine. Comments from Lynne Brindley and Tim Buckley-Owen are featured. '“There are deep-seated information literacy challenges to be tackled,” said Buckley Owen. “It’s not just a question of people knowing what buttons to push. We need to ensure everyone has the skills to recognise what is worth having and what’s garbage.”'
