Filter bubbles

There has been a discussion on the ili list about "filter bubbles" (being in a bubble where a lot of information is being filtered out before it reaches you). Thanks to Jennifer Ballance for posting about a video of Eli Pariser talking about this subject " With increased filtering and anticipation of our search needs, "there's a dangerous unintended consequence: We get trapped in a "filter bubble" and don't get exposed to information that could challenge or broaden our worldview." http://www.ted.com/talks/eli_pariser_beware_online_filter_bubbles.html
